THE MANAGEMENT OF SUPPLIERS SELECTION OF DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES FROM MINING INDUSTRY USING FUZZY LOGIC

This paper aims to develop a model or a tool based on fuzzy logic in selecting the most suitable suppliers of hazardous substances used in the mining industry, especially of those associated with the cyanide. In order to reduce the risk of having an ecological accident during transportation of dangerous substances from supplier to the mining site and implicitly in the discharge phase, but also and for economic reasons, I proposed a decisional selection model based on fuzzy logic, which takes into account the subjectivity of the human reasoning and which can be succesfully applied within ”Ro?ia Montana project”, but not only.
