Abstract: In this paper, we have approached aspects related to sustainability and the relation between sustainability and new methods of modern organisation like Lean Management. he objectives of the paper have been materialized in: explaining and interpreting the concept of sustainable enterprise, the exemplification of Lean management method and Lean production, which favour the sustainable development.This paper presents a case study, too, that expresses the transcendence of Lean production in a sustainable production, arguing that the application of some modern management methods promote the sustainable development of organizations in the current and future economic environment
