Abstract:
Nowadays, company executives require relevant and accurate business information in real-time to take strategic decisions. It is also essential to have freedom to access this information anywhere and anytime. There is a real need to extend this functionality beyond the office and on the fingertips of the decision makers. Mobile tools for Business Intelligence aim to provide these features in a flexible and cost-effective manner. This paper describes a model of architecture of mobile tools for accessing decision support systems to overcome the limitations of existing mobile business intelligence tools and highlights the benefits of using mobile business applications.
