Abstract:
This article reviews the work undertaken by the London Foreign Exchange Joint Standing Committee during 2016. The Committee provides a forum for market participants, infrastructure providers and the relevant UK public authorities to discuss conjunctural and structural issues concerning the wholesale foreign exchange (FX) market in the United Kingdom and the associated supporting infrastructure. The Committee held four regular and four additional meetings during 2016.
