Abstract: The article deals with problems of coaching and of its meaning, especially in the area of business activities. Coaching means the methods how to improve utilization of potential of people universally, of managers, of co-operators, of whole firm etc. It's possible to act upon of method GROW (Goal Setting, Reality, Options, Will). Coaching in this article is realized in the frame of the research project of National Programme of Research No. II of Ministry of Education, Young and Sports "Managerial audit as a support tool for sustainable development of small and medium enterprises ". The case study of small firm prepared for coaching is connected.
