Abstract: The services providing firms creates a 60-per-cent share of gross domestic product in the Czech Republic and the majority of these enterprises are of the size of small and medium-sized. The owners are very often the only one person in the top management of the firm and they do not have a sparing partner inside the own company do discuss strategic aims and decisions. This paper deals with the theme how to coach a firm on the size level of SME. Coaching instead of consulting can bring a better and quicker improvement in the development progress in a firm.
