Abstract:
The gross fixed capital of the Czech agriculture is one of the lowest in the EU. Low investment influences the cost/revenue ratio and the efficiency of agricultural production and total competitiveness of agricultural production consequently. European programmes supporting investment to agriculture are aimed at supporting the modernization of agricultural holdings with low investment both building and technology of animal and plant production. The Rural Development and Multi-functional Agriculture Operational Programme is one of the most successful in receiving money from Structural funds as 75% of allocated resources were paid within this programme. The largest volume of all measures of the OP RDMA was paid to investment in agriculture.
