Abstract:
This text is concerned with an analysis of the economy efficiency of the Middle-European economies - the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Slovenia in the first years of their membership in the EU. We can manifest on the basis of multidimensional scaling methods that the Czech Republic has the highest potential to become the most powerful new member state in the centre of Europe.
