Abstract:
A social services planning is an integral part of local administrations in setting optimal functioning of a social system in the selected area. Emphasis laid on this area is mainly for the reasons of current and demographical development within the Czech Republic and for the reasons of a current development of economic efficiency of the country. In the center of the interest, there is a current area of the harmonization of a system of social services provision in the selected areas. Decisive factors are among others needs of current social services users, demographical development in the following years and future needs of the public in this area. An important factor is also a time and distance availability, which can be a decisive obstacle in the access to needed social service.
