Abstract: The standard method of definition of resolutioned problems is outputs of summary analysis. In the article there are tested and compared the positions of two engineering enterprises. Organizations were assessed with the help of SWOT analysis, showing their internal and external entrepreneurial position; further the analysis of Critical Success Factors (CSF) was used. Its conception is based on recommendation to aim at the items, having basic importance and are decisive for the firm's prosperity.
