Abstract:
The competitiveness of the Czech agricultural sector, especially after entering the EU, is still a problematic matter and the agricultural firms themselves are trying to solve this fact by optimizing of their production. However, there are commodities or activities that could not be realized without subsidy policy or the realization would be losing. This entry deals with the analysis of financial sponsorships in a form of subsidies at a chosen sample of agricultural firms in the period of 1999 - 2003. These subsidies are given by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic. The sample consists of roughly 50 agricultural firms sorted according to the sea-level altitude so that it is possible to monitor particular differences between each of them. The entry is elaborated in the link-up to the intention of research MSM 6007665806.
