Abstract:
The Single Window concept refers to an > facility that allows parties involved in trade and transport to lodge standardized information and documents with a single entry point to fulfill all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements. The implementation and use of up-to-date Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) facilitates trade and a Single Window should lead to a close co-operation between all involved governmental authorities and agencies as well as the trading community.
