Abstract: The recent reform of Italian company law has been critically outlined by Prof. Montalenti (ECFR 3/2004, 368 f.) who, together with other scholars, has previously contributed to building the substratum and offered suggestions, which have been taken into consideration by the regulator in order to draft the new rules. The present report focuses the attention on the group of companies and its present rules.
