Abstract:
Review of Learning from Catastrophe: Quick Response Research in the Wake of Hurricane Katrina by Jessica Leifeld, Presidential Fellow, NDSU. This book presents a scholarly, peer-reviewed collection of quick response research sponsored by the National Science Foundation following Hurricane Katrina. The findings presented in the book address a variety of topics; use a number of research approaches; and offer readers new knowledge about emergency management and disaster studies.
