Abstract: Kürzlich hat Martin Hellwig in den Perspektiven der Wirtschaftspolitik seine Position zu den Targetsalden des Europäischen Währungssystems dargelegt. Stefan Homburg kritisiert nun in diesem Kommentar Hellwigs Ansichten in mehreren Punkten.
