Abstract:
The government support of sustainable mobility is a responsible and challenging cross-sectional political task. The growing number of global tourists cause increasing traffic streams so that state funding and policies that ensure sustainable mobility in tourism are more important than ever. Moreover it is a necessary consequence that the interests of tourism sectors, target groups and stakeholders are taken into account within the federal and state funding programs. Therefore, the aim of this article is to analyze the status quo of funding programs in the area of mobility and to deduce appropriate conclusions for the future design of programs, which support sustainable mobility in tourism.
