Abstract: People with disabilities should have the opportunity to participate in the general labour market. For this reason, an interdisciplinary project analysed the tourism industry and showed the potential for integrative jobs. Seventy employees with disabilities, colleagues, decision-makers (line managers and human resources managers) and job coaches were interviewed. The insights formed the basis for the development of the website “www.tourismus-mitenand.ch”. It illustrates the opportunities and challenges for companies that employ people with disabilities and shows potential employees job opportunities in the tourism industry.
