Klimawandel: Anpassungsstrategien im Alpentourismus. Ergebnisse einer alpenweiten Delphi-Befragung

Abstract: The impacts of climate change are of great importance for the future of Alpine tourism. Beside mitigation of climate change it is important to develop suitable adaption strategies for Alpine tourism destinations. A Delphi analysis studied possible adaption strategies in alpine summerand winter tourism, based on the opinion of tourism and climate experts from 6 alpine countries. Centre of the analysis were the questions how guests react on the impacts of climate change, what kind of adaption strategies of tourism destinations yet exist, and what the roles are of the different stakeholder in the adaption process. The study identifies 11 action fields and denominates the leading stakeholder groups.
