Abstract: Die Bankenkrise hat in den USA zu einer umfassenden Diskussion über die Reform des Bankrechts geführt. Im Februar dieses Jahres hat das Schatzministerium nunmehr einen Bericht über die Modernisierung des Bankensystems vorgelegt. Der Beitrag stellt die in ihm enthaltenen Reformvorschläge dar.
