Abstract: Der Beitrag stellt die Vorschläge des Bundesinnenministeriums (BMI) vom 20.11.1995für eine verbesserte Bekämpfung der Geldwäsche (die „Eckpunkte“), die von den Rechts- und Innenpolitikern der Koalition gebilligt wurden, kritisch dar. Zugleich wird Reformbedarf an anderer Stelle aufgezeigt, der bei Gelegenheit der Umsetzung des vorgeschlagenen Anderungspakets befriedigt werden könnte
