Abstract: Even in times of economic crises, German cooperatives remain strong partners of small and medium-sized enterprises. They provide stability and long-term perspectives for the banking industry, the agricultural sector, the energy sector and also for health care services. Cooperatives do also successfully contribute to regional stability.
