Abstract:
Cooperatives and their members constitute an alliance for achievement. In this framework, member information and communication between members and the cooperative is essential. An active management of internal communication promotes the dialogue with the community of members, extends the information basis of decisions and better involves members. An improved exchange of information in the member-customer-relationship may thus endorse the member orientation of a cooperative.
