Abstract:
As the recent crisis has shown, financial education is of great importance for the society as a whole. Therefore, the financial industry must assume responsibility in order to improve financial education. Being a question of particular concern for value-oriented cooperative banks, we discuss the prospects for an improved financial education of members and customers.
