Abstract:
In a highly competitive business environment, banks (and particularly cooperative banks) face increasing regulatory requirements. As a cooperative central bank, the WGZ bank therefore provides support in order to assist primary credit cooperatives in meeting those standards. As the WGZ bank is a national system-relevant bank, its own high risk management standards are particularly helpful. Concurrently, the compliance function attracts notice to the supervisory institutions. In either case, the cooperative central bank closely supports her member banks.
