Abstract:
Former studies on decision factors pro or contra agricultural cooperations mainly focused on economic aspects. The aim of this paper therefore is to examine the relevance of „soft“ factors, like a similiar age structure or a well-known cooperation partner, by a Discrete Choice Experiment. We show that „soft“ factors are of high decision relevance, but their influence on the success of a cooperation possibly is underestimated by the cultivators.
