Abstract:
We examine the effects of regulatory demands on business models of small and medium-sized German cooperative banks. Business models of cooperative banks change due to regulation. The importance of revenue sources shifts, a new prioritisation of customers is necessary. Product and service offering are to be adapted, pricing actions are to be taken and the asset liability management is to be adjusted.
