Abstract: In the German legal system, an initiation of action vehicles is currently becoming increasingly evident. In this case, claims for damages are collected in possibly enormous proportions in a company that later appears as plaintiff. The economic principle of such lawsuits as well as factors of a legal and economic nature are presented and discussed in this article. As a result, an increase in the number of legal proceedings pertaining to entire sectors of the economy can be conducted.
