Abstract:
In view of a rising digitalization and changing consumer behavior retail is radically redefining. This development is contributing to decisive changes in scientific methods in the field of geographical retail research. The main purpose of this paper is to explore the heterogeneous methodological approaches, methods of collecting information as well as data processing by taking into account recent German and international articles. On the basis of this analysis of literature, potentials and shortcomings were identified.
