Abstract:
The development of economic performance and the need to identify certain solutions to ensure greater efficiency make it necessary for employers to identify proper solutions to motivate their staff. One issue not to be neglected is ensuring fair and equal treatment in terms of working conditions. The present study aims at scanning the main European concerns in the field of occupational health and safety as well as qualitative and quantitative characteristics specific to Romania. The authors have used qualitative research in this study by capitalizing on studies in this field, and European and national legislations.
