Abstract: This paper is the second part of a study on the European Energy Union formation on the energy market in Romania. This second analysis refers to the natural gas market. The author addresses the issue of security of gas supplies to EU countries, dependence on one supplier and the difference in gas import price. A more detailed analysis will be carried out on the interconnection of natural gas markets in the European Union and Romania. Finally highlights the main effects which these interconnections generates gas on the domestic market.
