Abstract: The paper approaches theoretical issues of appeal in the interests of the law, emphasizing the role of such legal institution which aims at ensuring the uniform interpretation and application of the law across the country. The constitutional attribute of ensuring the uniform interpretation and application of laws by all courts rests with the High Court of Cassation and Justice which should only refer to the interpretation of the law.
