Abstract: The damage is a harmful consequence, patrimonial or non-patrimonial, of the non-observance of the subjective rights and of the legitimate interests of a person, which determines the obligation of compensation for the person who committed the wrongful act. The notion of damage is designated by synonymous terms as damages. According to art.1357 of the Civil Code, the one who causes the damage to another by an unlawful act, committed with guilt, is obliged to repair it. The author is responsible for the slightest guilt.
