Evaluation of the financial situation of farms

Abstract:
The study deals with the comparison of financial situation of farms in the Czech Republic. Three groups of farms are compared - co-operatives, business companies and individual farmers. The data were analysed within the years 1994 and 2000. The analysis of financial situation was done by the means of indexes describing liquidity, activity and profitability as well as some other additional indicators such as labour productivity and costs levels etc.
