Abstract:
Organizational Justice has long been acknow - ledged as a key element in the relationships between employees and their organizations : it fosters job satisfaction, organizational commitment, acceptance of the company?s policy, conflicts resolution and citizenship behaviors. However, few studies have explored the link between management control systems and perceived justice. This paper reviews the literature on organizational justice theories in association with management control systems. In particular, it examines and provides directions for research on what can increase perceived fairness, and thus effectiveness, of management control systems.
