Abstract:
This article examines the impact of mobility strategies on the valuation of benefits from seniority in France. An estimation using mobility variables shows that benefits from seniority are nearly one-and-a-half times as high as the standard valuation. Benefits from seniority seem to result from incentive-led contracts rather than the optimisation of specific human capital.
