Calcul économique et incertitude socio-politique: une procédure d'évaluation des projets publics

Robert Kast and Stéphane Luchini

Economie & Prévision, 2002, vol. 156, issue 5, 73-84

Abstract: Public choice processes have two dimensions, in that they must take account of economic aspects and the socio-political context in which they occur. Privileging one of the two dimensions inevitably leads to inefficiencies. The authors set out a two-stage experimental evaluation procedure based on two economic theories to evaluate the benefits of a given project taking socio-political aspects into account.
