L’entrepreneuriat responsable: quels enjeux, quels leviers ?

Éric Persais

Entreprendre & innover, 2020, vol. n° 45, issue 2, 10-21

Abstract: As the world we live in becomes more and more socioeconomically unbalanced, sustainable development (SD) is increasingly perceived as essential for humankind?s survival. This trend is even more prominent among the new generation of entrepreneurs. This is mainly due to their intrinsic potential to invent new business models that are more environmentally friendly or that offer innovative solutions to current societal issues. This article represents a step toward investigating the pivotal role of social responsibility in new entrepreneurship. First, the notion of responsible entrepreneurship is addressed. It is then linked to the underlying need to place sustainability at the center of today?s most pressing issues. Finally, the goals and steps necessary to achieve this endgame are exposed via a set of thresholds and key drivers.
