Abstract:
This study explores social innovation in competitiveness clusters. Our analysis proposes seven dimensions of social innovation, highlighted in the operation of two competitiveness clusters in the South Region of France. To do so, we mobilize management tools inherent in the activity of competitiveness clusters in terms of coordination, regulation, and knowledge management. We show that competitiveness clusters are social innovation structures whose operation leads to the realization of social innovation. Moreover, we highlight that it is the projects led by members of competitiveness clusters that respond to territorialized social needs.
