Abstract:
What does it take to be an entrepreneur when you are a woman? Do you have to rob a bank and remove everyone wearing a tie? Divorce and give custody of your children to your ex? Buy some Louboutin shoes? Or lean on your peers by locking yourself into women?s networks? Here is the candid testimony of a woman entrepreneur who has since turned to coaching both male and female entrepreneurs. Using wit, sincerity, and a touch of irony, she recounts how she experienced the different phases of her adventure: from her dream of becoming an entrepreneur, through to launching and managing her business, her decision to quit and her insights on what she learned. She also offers a wealth of useful advice for future women entrepreneurs.
