Entreprendre & innover, 2021, vol. n° 51, issue 4, 84-96

Abstract: At the heart of public authorities? concerns, entrepreneurship mobilizes important resources. Entrepreneurship education is assessed on its capacity to produce the expected effects (business and jobs creation, development of the entrepreneurial spirit). The processual nature of the entrepreneurial approach -anchored in an ecosystem which is dynamic by nature, leads to necessary interactions between the actors involved in the project. Their subjectivities influence their relationship to the entrepreneurial project. The two doctoral dissertations discussed in this paper explore, on the one hand, the forms that the commitment of the nascent entrepreneur can take in this specific context of creation and emergence and, on the other hand, the necessarily multidimensional evaluation of the impact of entrepreneurship education programs. This work contributes to the toolbox of coaches by taking into account the role of both individual and contextual factors.
