Abstract:
Ann-Charlotte Teglborg Ashworth and Caroline Verzat participated in the Symposium on Regenerative Education 1 organized by Schumacher College in October 2022. On this occasion, they interviewed its founder, Satish Kumar, its current head, Pavel Cenkl and its head of Research, Mona Nasseri. The following interview presents various dimensions of this radically innovative place for sustainability education: its historic roots, vision, evolving business model, specific transformative pedagogy with concrete examples of program design and exercises. It ends up with inspirational insights for mainstream higher education institutions.
