Abstract:
This article reports on an experience of co-creation, between a research team (supplier) and a competitiveness cluster (client), of a strategic decision support tool for SMEs in the agri-food sector. The co-creation approach followed during this experiment aimed to bring together the future users and beneficiaries of the tool and to rely on concepts that are really adapted to ordinary SMEs. While this objective was indeed achieved, the experience highlighted that this type of approach remains based on a relationship of coopetition, which implies being vigilant to the strategic stakes of the actors and to the place that the project occupies in them.
