La théorie des émotions est insuffisante à comprendre ce qui se joue dans le monde du travail

Tiphaine Liu and Marie Grenier-Pezé

Entreprendre & innover, 2023, vol. n° 56, issue 3, 101-110

Abstract: In this powerful interview, psychoanalyst Marie Pezé explores our deep-rooted connection to work and the limitations of the concept of emotion. As an experienced witness of violence in the workplace, she analyses the various risks weighing on business leaders and employees in the current context (burnout, quiet quitting, liquid organizations, invisible work, digital leash). Pointing the visceral bound of the French to their work, she argues that ?damaged work? is a ripe atmosphere for burnout. Having adequate tools to deconstruct the system as well as the need to work in unison on these issues are key factors to reduce the risks.
