Abstract:
This article presents how emotions can impact relationships between Business Angels (BA) and engineer entrepreneurs. It brings a new perspective through pair analysis, unlike the literature which has too often individualized them. After presenting the very unique profile of the ?technology-driven? BA, testimonies through mini-cases illustrate the emotional singularities of implementing entrepreneurial projects. The analysis shows that if the initial scientific and technical background promotes the rationality approach of the technological project, the symbiosis of the pair turns to be weakened by the reality of business creation, with the disorder of one of the 4 roots of emotions. It then offers practical support as well as entrepreneurial recommendations, essential to the good development of the relationship over time.
