« Réussir quand même », la saga des Nadar, photographes-entrepreneurs

Abstract:
Félix Nadar was a man of letters, a caricaturist, an innovator, and a man of science, who succeeded in turning photography into a major, multi-faceted art form, developing its practice on land, underground and in the air, while making it accessible to as many people as possible. He achieved this feat not alone, but as part of a family spanning several generations, accompanied by the faithful friends and business associates who made up the 19th century. It was an exceptional achievement, reconciling two hitherto distinct fields: artistic creation and industrial production.
