Abstract:
The study of entrepreneurial practices, within an entrepreneurial ecosystem, shows the importance of spatial and non-spatial proximities in activating the potential necessary for the development of a project. The ability of an entrepreneur to mobilize these proximities, or even to create them, thus becomes a key competence. Through a longitudinal case study of a major sporting event, we propose an analysis of proximities that identifies their nature, their genesis, and the essential role they play in the creation and development of the organization and its ecosystem.
