Developing strategic capabilities for startup – large firm collaborative innovation

Abstract: To optimize the chances of success of a startup ? large firm collaborative innovation project, it is essential for these partners to develop the strategic capabilities associated with this particular type of asymmetrical collaboration. This article proposes key factors facilitating collaborative innovation between startups and large firms, using an approach based on strategic dynamic capabilities in conjunction with the three pillars of organizational design.
