Abstract:
The will to generalize observations about industrial districts and Local productive systems (SPL) leads to an interpretation of territorial dynamics in terms of resources. On the other hand, these scientific advances contribute to renew the content of public policies. Their action in the field of tourism, in terms pf sustainable tourism, now relies on these concepts and question the dissemination and generalization of a ?specific development? model. After highlighting the characteristic properties of Localized tourism systems (STL, in relation to the original concept of SPL) this article explore the renewal of the tourism development model in the winter sports resorts. In this purpose, we will support this presentation on two suburban mid-mountain resorts near Grenoble. © 2008 Lavoisier, Paris. Tous droits réservés.
