La construction d'un territoire à partir des ressources environnementales: l'exemple de l'agglomération dunkerquoise

Christophe Beaurain

Géographie, économie, société, 2008, vol. 10, issue 3, 365-384

Abstract: The proximity approach of territorial?s economic dynamics develop the idea that territory?s specific resources reveal themselves in the long time from a process of coordination between actors. In this paper, we try to apply this theoritical approach to the case of environmental resources, by defining the conditions of a mutual dynamics between territory?s actors, for the integration of environmental constraints in process of production. We insist, then, on the double dimension of such a process of territory?s construction : importance of the collective discussion about environmental value, and emergence of cognitive resources from actor?s coordination. © 2008 Lavoisier, Paris.
