Abstract:
This article focuses on the territorial sustainable attractiveness, and specifically its definition and measure, by analyzing the representations of entrepreneurs. We use a questionnaire on a cross-section of 36 French business leaders. We first highlight the necessary and advisable construction of the sustainable attractiveness. To emphasize the local particularities, we present the differences and similarities between business leaders of two French regions, ?Aquitaine? and ?Pays de la Loire?, in terms of expectations of local communities and representation of sustainable development. We show that the dashboard of sustainable attractiveness needs to be locally adjusted. We then compare what is worthwhile for business leaders to existing measures of sustainable attractiveness and we can observe several under considered variables.
